99 AN ACT
1010 relating to the power of the Cibolo Creek Municipal Authority to
1111 issue bonds.
1212 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1313 SECTION 1. Chapter 8166, Special District Local Laws Code,
1414 is amended by adding Subchapter E to read as follows:
1515 SUBCHAPTER E. BONDS
1616 Sec. 8166.201. AUTHORITY TO ISSUE BONDS. (a) The district
1717 has the rights, powers, duties, and obligations of an issuer under
1818 Chapter 1371, Government Code.
1919 (b) Section 49.181, Water Code, does not apply to the
2020 district.
2121 SECTION 2. (a) The legal notice of the intention to
2222 introduce this Act, setting forth the general substance of this
2323 Act, has been published as provided by law, and the notice and a
2424 copy of this Act have been furnished to all persons, agencies,
2525 officials, or entities to which they are required to be furnished
2626 under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution, and Chapter 313,
2727 Government Code.
2828 (b) The governor has submitted the notice and Act to the
2929 Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
3030 (c) The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has filed
3131 its recommendations relating to this Act with the governor,
3232 lieutenant governor, and speaker of the house of representatives
3333 within the required time.
3434 (d) All requirements of the constitution and laws of this
3535 state and the rules and procedures of the legislature with respect
3636 to the notice, introduction, and passage of this Act are fulfilled
3737 and accomplished.
3838 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
3939 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
4040 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
4141 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
4242 Act takes effect September 1, 2011.
