99 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
1010 AN ACT
1111 relating to requirements for certain arrangements or agreements of
1212 certain regional transportation authorities.
1313 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1414 SECTION 1. Section 452.108, Transportation Code, is amended
1515 by adding Subsection (g) to read as follows:
1616 (g) Subsection (c) does not apply to a multiyear commodity
1717 or utility service purchase arrangement or agreement.
1818 SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act applies only
1919 to an arrangement or agreement entered into on or after the
2020 effective date of this Act.
2121 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
2222 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
2323 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
2424 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
2525 Act takes effect September 1, 2011.
