A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to declaratory judgments.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Chapter 37, Civil Practice and Remedies Code, is
amended by adding Section 37.012 to read as follows:
Sec. 37.012. SOVEREIGN IMMUNITY NOT WAIVED. This chapter
does not waive sovereign immunity.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011.
