The bill would amend the Transportation Code to define sport bike and to prohibit certain sport bike operators from carrying certain other persons on sport bikes. The bill also contains provisions requiring sport bikes to be outfitted with certain safety equipment. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2011. No significant fiscal impact to the state is anticipated.  Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
