99 enforcement systems.
1010 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1111 SECTION 1. Section 544.012, Transportation Code, is amended
1212 by adding Subsection (f) to read as follows:
1313 (f) A municipality shall install a sign at each intersection
1414 at which a photographic traffic monitoring system is in active use
1515 and at which turning right is permissible as provided by Section
1616 544.007(d). The sign must indicate the location at which the
1717 operator of the vehicle must stop the vehicle when facing a steady
1818 red signal to comply with Section 544.007(d).
1919 SECTION 2. Section 707.003, Transportation Code, is amended
2020 by adding Subsection (g-1) to read as follows:
2121 (g-1) A local authority shall install a sign at each
2222 intersection at which a photographic traffic signal enforcement
2323 system is in active use and at which turning right is permissible as
2424 provided by Section 544.007(d). The sign must indicate the
2525 location at which the operator of the vehicle must stop the vehicle
2626 when facing a steady red signal to comply with Section 544.007(d).
2727 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011.
