The bill would amend the Government Code to include county hospitals and county hospital authorities in the list of entities exempt from certain conditions of open meetings regulation. A county hospital or county hospital authority would not be required to conduct an open meeting to deliberate pricing or financial planning information in a bid process or information relating to a proposed new service or product line.
