| 12 | 12 | SECTION 1. Section 4051.101(c), Insurance Code, is amended | |
| 13 | 13 | to read as follows: | |
| 14 | 14 | (c) This section does not apply to a person who wrote for the | |
| 15 | 15 | previous calendar year: | |
| 16 | 16 | (1) policies authorized by Chapter 911 for a farm | |
| 17 | 17 | mutual insurance company that generated, in the aggregate, less | |
| 18 | 18 | than $50,000 in direct premium; [or] | |
| 19 | 19 | (2) industrial fire insurance policies that | |
| 20 | 20 | generated, in the aggregate, less than $20,000 in direct premium; | |
| 21 | 21 | or | |
| 22 | 22 | (3) policies authorized by Chapter 962 for an insurer | |
| 23 | 23 | that generated, in the aggregate, less than $40,000 in direct | |
| 24 | 24 | premium. | |
| 25 | 25 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011. |
