| 12 | 12 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 13 | 13 | SECTION 1. Section 111.00457(a), Tax Code, is amended to | |
| 14 | 14 | read as follows: | |
| 15 | 15 | (a) The comptroller shall include the following statement | |
| 16 | 16 | on each application for a permit or license issued by the | |
| 17 | 17 | comptroller: | |
| 18 | 18 | WARNING. You may be required to obtain an additional permit | |
| 19 | 19 | or license from the State of Texas or from a local governmental | |
| 20 | 20 | entity to conduct business. A listing of links relating to | |
| 21 | 21 | acquiring licenses, permits, and registrations from the State of | |
| 22 | 22 | Texas is available online at http://www.Texas.gov | |
| 23 | 23 | [http://www.TexasOnline.com/portal/tol/en/9/1]. You may also want | |
| 24 | 24 | to contact the municipality and county in which you will conduct | |
| 25 | 25 | business to determine any local governmental requirements. | |
