| 12 | 12 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 13 | 13 | SECTION 1. Section 453.213(a), Occupations Code, is amended | |
| 14 | 14 | to read as follows: | |
| 15 | 15 | (a) The board by rule shall adopt requirements for the | |
| 16 | 16 | registration and renewal of a registration of a physical therapy | |
| 17 | 17 | facility. A facility licensed under Subtitle B, Title 4, Health and | |
| 18 | 18 | Safety Code, is exempt from the registration requirements under | |
| 19 | 19 | this section. The board by rule may exempt other facilities as | |
| 20 | 20 | appropriate. | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011. | |
