A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the exemption of registered dental laboratories from
certain distributing and manufacturing licensing requirements.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 431.273, Health and Safety Code, is
amended by adding Subsection (a-1) to read as follows:
(a-1) A person is exempt from licensing under this
subchapter if the person holds a registration certificate issued
under Chapter 266, Occupations Code, and engages only in conduct
within the scope of that registration.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011.
