| 13 | 13 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 14 | 14 | | SECTION 1. Section 31.108(f), Parks and Wildlife Code, is |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | amended to read as follows: |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | (f) An agent acting under authority of Subsection (d): |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | (1) shall collect a $10 examination or course fee and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | forward the fee and any examination documentation to the department |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | not later than the 30th day after the date the examination or course |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | is administered; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | (2) may collect and keep a $3 service fee, or an amount |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | set by the commission, whichever is greater. |

| 23 | 23 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2011. |
