A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the franchise tax, franchise tax rates and computation;
alternative revenue sources and spending priorities for this state;
certain taxes affecting businesses; making an appropriation;
providing penalties.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The administration of the franchise tax and
other state taxes including all aspects of taxation shall be
efficient, equitable, and provide sufficient revenue to fund the
priorities of state government.
