| 12 | 12 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 13 | 13 | | SECTION 1. Section 504.054, Local Government Code, is |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | amended to read as follows: |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Sec. 504.054. LOCATION OF BOARD MEETINGS. (a) Except as |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | provided by Subsection (b), the [The] board of directors of a Type A |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | corporation shall conduct each board meeting within the boundaries |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | of the authorizing municipality. |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | (b) If the authorizing municipality is located in a county |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | with a population of less than 30,000, the board of directors of a |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Type A corporation may conduct a board meeting within the |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | boundaries of the county. |

| 23 | 23 | | SECTION 2. Section 505.055, Local Government Code, is |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | amended to read as follows: |

| 25 | 25 | | Sec. 505.055. LOCATION OF BOARD MEETINGS. (a) Except as |
