| 13 | 13 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 14 | 14 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 88, Education Code, is |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | amended by adding Section 88.1035 to read as follows: |

| 16 | 16 | | Sec. 88.1035. USE OF FUNDS TO SUPPORT PEACE OFFICER |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | TRAINING. The Texas Forest Service, subject to director approval, |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | may use appropriated funds to purchase food and beverages for |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | training functions required of peace officers of the Texas Forest |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Service. |

| 21 | 21 | | SECTION 2. Subchapter A, Chapter 411, Government Code, is |

| 22 | 22 | | amended by adding Section 411.0132 to read as follows: |

| 32 | 32 | | for training functions required of the military police of the state |

| 34 | 34 | | SECTION 4. Subchapter B, Chapter 11, Parks and Wildlife |

| 35 | 35 | | Code, is amended by adding Section 11.0195 to read as follows: |

| 40 | 40 | | SECTION 5. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |

| 41 | 41 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 42 | 42 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 43 | 43 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 44 | 44 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2011. |
