H.R. No. 1247
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Felix and Dorothy Frazier of Greenville celebrated
their 70th wedding anniversary on March 30, 2011, and they may
indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have
shared; and
WHEREAS, Both alumni of Greenville High School, Felix Frazier
graduated with the Class of 1936 and the former Dorothy Mae Spray
was a member of the Class of 1939; they exchanged the vows of
matrimony in 1941 in Lawton, Oklahoma, and over the course of their
marriage, they have found in each other a loving life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Frazier count among their blessings a
fine family that includes four children, Felix A. Frazier III,
Steve Frazier and his wife, Kathy, Candy Kelley and her husband,
John, and Phillip Frazier and his wife, Pat, as well as 8
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, with whom they enjoy
sharing the many special occasions of life; and
WHEREAS, For seven decades, Felix and Dorothy Frazier have
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Felix and Dorothy Frazier on their
70th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
