H.R. No. 1248
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Bill and Kay Cleveland of Campbell celebrated their
50th wedding anniversary on April 1, 2011, and they may indeed
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared;
and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland exchanged the vows of
matrimony in Rockwall in 1961, and over the course of their
marriage, they have found in each other a loving life partner; and
WHEREAS, The couple count among their blessings a fine family
that includes two daughters, Susie Norris and her husband, Bobby,
and Annette Moore and her husband, Keven, with whom they enjoy
spending the many special occasions of life; Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland
have also experienced the joy of welcoming into their family five
grandchildren, Heide Krodel and her husband, James, Shelbe Thomas
and her husband, Josh, Casse Morton and her husband, Brandon, Billy
Bob Norris, and Kolton Moore; and
WHEREAS, For half a century, Bill and Kay Cleveland have
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Bill and Kay Cleveland on their
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes
for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
