H.R. No. 1441
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, December 20, 2010, was indeed a special day in the
lives of Amy Lillian Ward-Meier and Edward Franklin Meier, for on
that day they became the proud parents of an adorable baby boy,
Nolan Edward Meier; and
WHEREAS, Since making his much-anticipated arrival at Sibley
Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., Nolan has been warmly
welcomed by an admiring circle of friends and relatives; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Meier have been ably assisted in caring
for their son by his big sister, Penelope Jane, who will undoubtedly
delight in sharing her worldly wisdom with her younger brother in
the days and weeks to come; and
WHEREAS, Nolan begins his life sheltered in the warm embrace
of his family, and with their support and guidance, he will surely
thrive; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Amy Lillian Ward-Meier and Edward
Franklin Meier on the birth of their son, Nolan Edward Meier, and
extend to them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the family as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
