H.R. No. 1686
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, George and Lucille Kveton of Lubbock celebrated
their 60th wedding anniversary on March 27, 2011, and they may
indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have
shared; and
WHEREAS, George Kveton and the former Lucille Matus exchanged
the vows of matrimony at a ceremony held in Abbott in 1951, and over
the course of their marriage, they have found in each other a loving
life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Kveton count among their blessings a
fine family that includes two children, Nancy Madry and her
husband, Mike, and George F. Kveton, Jr., as well as two
grandchildren, with whom they share the many special occasions of
life; and
WHEREAS, For six decades, George and Lucille Kveton have
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate George and Lucille Kveton on their
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
