H.R. No. 1711
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Young people who devote themselves to the pursuit
of academic excellence are deserving of every Texan's respect and
admiration, and Kollin Kahler of Waco is indeed one such
individual; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Kahler attends Lamar University in Beaumont,
where his commitment to his studies earned him a perfect 4.0 grade
point average and a place on the fall 2010 president's list; and
WHEREAS, Kollin Kahler has demonstrated outstanding
initiative and dedication in college, and he may take justifiable
pride in his notable accomplishment; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Kollin Kahler on making the
president's list at Lamar University and extend to him sincere best
wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Kahler as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
