 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, The passing of Victor D. "Bud" Wiley, Jr., of Waco,
 on March 13, 2011, at the age of 59, has deeply saddened his family
 and many friends; and
 WHEREAS, Bud Wiley was born on September 24, 1951, in
 Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Victor D. and Bette M. Wiley; answering
 his nation's call to duty, he served as a member of the U.S. Air
 Force during the 1970s; and
 WHEREAS, Demonstrating an adventurous spirit, Mr. Wiley
 pursued a variety of outdoor activities; he enjoyed skiing while
 stationed in Germany, and he learned to surf while living in Hawaii
 for six years; and
 WHEREAS, Those who were privileged to share in the friendship
 and love of Bud Wiley will fondly remember this fun-loving man and
 the characteristic twinkle in his eye and mischievous grin on his
 face; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Victor D. "Bud" Wiley,
 Jr., and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to
 his sisters, Barbara Ann Wiley Jones and her husband, Patrick, and
 Patricia Carol Wiley Von Dohlen and her husband, Tim; to his nieces,
 Kelly Allen and her husband, Lembo, Mary Elisabeth Denmon and her
 husband, Brandon, and Rebecca Rather; to his nephew, Patrick Jones,
 Jr.; to his great-nephews, Colton Denmon and Hunter Whittle; to his
 great-niece, Logan Elisabeth Denmon; and to his other relatives and
 friends; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Victor D.
 Wiley, Jr.
