H.R. No. 1792
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Doug and Jo Ann Morris of Campbell celebrated their
25th wedding anniversary on April 19, 2011, and they may indeed
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared;
and
WHEREAS, Doug Morris and the former Jo Ann Julian exchanged
the vows of matrimony at Peniel Baptist Church in Greenville in
1986, and over the course of their marriage, they have found in each
other a loving life partner; and
WHEREAS, The couple count among their blessings a fine family
that includes two children, Matthew Morris and Mindy Plunkett and
her husband, Joey, as well as a granddaughter, Lizzy, with whom they
share the many special occasions of life; and
WHEREAS, For a quarter-century, Doug and Jo Ann Morris have
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Doug and Jo Ann Morris on their
25th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Morris as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
