 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories
 of Billy G. White of Waco, who died on April 2, 2011, at the age of
 86; and
 WHEREAS, Billy White was born in Bynum on October 18, 1924, to
 Lauren and Athalea McMurry White; he worked for Buick dealerships
 in Waco for more than three decades, and he enjoyed fellowship at
 Columbus Avenue Baptist Church; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. White married the former Bernice Darden, and
 together the couple were blessed with a daughter, Jerre, and later
 welcomed four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren into
 their family; and
 WHEREAS, A devoted husband and father and a loyal friend,
 Billy White lived a caring and purposeful life, and he will forever
 be remembered with deep affection by all those who held him dear;
 now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Billy G. White and
 extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
 wife, Bernice Darden White; to his daughter, Jerre Varnell, and her
 husband, Maurice; to his grandchildren, Amy Hanson and her husband,
 Travis, John Varnell and his wife, Carrie, and Lauren Williams and
 her husband, Aaron; to his great-grandchildren, Hailey Hanson,
 Daniel Varnell, and Aaron Williams III; to his sisters, Nina
 Blankenship and Sue Dossey; to his sister-in-law, Jerre Morse; and
 to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Billy G.
 White.
