 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the
 death of Daniel A. Mynarcik, Sr., of Elm Mott on March 22, 2011, at
 the age of 82; and
 WHEREAS, Born in West on June 8, 1928, Dan Mynarcik attended
 school in Ross and served in the United States Army during the
 Korean War as a member of the 82nd Engineer Battalion; in 1953, he
 married the former Rosemary Korenek; the couple raised two sons and
 shared 57 years together; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. Mynarcik had a career at William Cameron and
 Company in Waco for more than four decades; after his retirement
 from that job, he was employed by the Texas State Technical College
 Bookstore and the West Auction Barn while also working as a farmer
 and rancher; and
 WHEREAS, A parishioner at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in
 Bellmead, he was active in the Knights of Columbus Council
 No. 7202; he was also a member of the RVOS Lodge, the Heart of Texas
 Square and Round Dance Association, the American Legion, Geneva
 Hall, and the KJT Society, and he served on the board of directors
 of the Greater Central Texas Federal Credit Union; and
 WHEREAS, In his free time, Mr. Mynarcik enjoyed listening to
 Czech music, dancing, and playing dominoes; outgoing and always
 cheerful, he especially loved socializing with friends and
 attending his sons' sporting events; and
 WHEREAS, Although Dan Mynarcik will be deeply missed,
 memories of the joy he found in the company of his family and
 friends remain to comfort and inspire those he leaves behind; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Daniel A. Mynarcik,
 Sr., and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to
 his wife, Rosemary; to his sons, Danny Mynarcik, Jr., and his wife,
 Lori, and David Mynarcik; to his grandchildren, Amanda Rose
 Mynarcik, Amy Windham, Adam Bajer, and Amanda Lynn Dennis and her
 husband, Steven; to his great-grandchildren, Hayden and Kinlee; to
 his brothers, Joe Mynarcik and his wife, Margie, and Louis Mynarcik
 and his wife, Elleanor; to his sisters, Agnes Zatopek and her
 husband, Adolph, and Lily Popp and her husband, Kenneth; and to his
 other relatives and friends; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Dan
 Mynarcik.
