No. 2048 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Those young people who give of their time and talents to assist in the demanding work of the Texas Legislature are truly deserving of our gratitude and admiration, and Eric Leventhal is one such individual; and WHEREAS, Originally from New York, Mr. Leventhal served as a legislative intern in the office of State Representative Elliott Naishtat from January to May 2011, and his commitment, dedication, and cheerful disposition were much appreciated by his colleagues; and WHEREAS, Mr. Leventhal is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and of The University of Texas School of Law, and his experience with the workings of state government will no doubt enrich and inform his future; and WHEREAS, Although his coworkers are sorry to see his tenure end, they share his excitement in a future that is bright with promise; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas Legislature hereby honor Eric Leventhal for his service as a legislative intern with the Texas House of Representatives and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Leventhal as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
