H.R. No. 214
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Bob and Sue Stone of Temple celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary on December 17, 2010, and they may indeed
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared;
and
WHEREAS, Robert Stone and the former Sue Henley exchanged the
vows of matrimony at First Baptist Church in Jefferson City in 1960,
and over the course of their marriage, they have found in each other
a loving life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Stone count among their blessings a
fine family that includes their sons, John Stone and his wife, Joan,
and David Stone and his wife, Melissa, as well as four
grandchildren, with whom they share the many special occasions of
life; and
WHEREAS, For half a century, Bob and Sue Stone have brought to
their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Bob and Sue Stone on their golden
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Stone as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
