H.R. No. 2153
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Brack Barnard Jones passed away on September 18,
2010, leaving his circle of family and friends to cherish their many
happy memories of time spent in his company; and
WHEREAS, A native of Temple, Mr. Jones was born on June 29,
1978, to Karen and Donald Jones; known for his open, friendly nature
and humor, he created a host of nicknames for his loved ones, whom
he showered with affection; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Jones loved animals, listening to music,
coloring, and solving puzzles; he took great pride in helping with
projects around the house and he enjoyed attending White Mound
Baptist Church; and
WHEREAS, While the life of Brack Jones ended far too soon, he
touched many with the delight he found in simple pleasures and he
will always be remembered with great tenderness and affection; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Brack Barnard Jones
and extend deepest sympathy to the members of his family: to his
parents, Donald Lee Jones and Karen Sue Barnard Jones; to his
brother, Coby Lee Jones, and his wife, Sarah Metheny Jones; and to
his many other relatives and friends; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Brack
Jones.
