 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the
 death of Marion Herring of Waco on April 26, 2011, at the age of 85;
 and
 WHEREAS, The former Marion Koerth was born in Falls County on
 September 2, 1925, to Willie and Ara Koerth; she was joined in
 matrimony to Roy Lee Herring on November 24, 1948, and they enjoyed
 a rewarding marriage until his passing; and
 WHEREAS, Mrs. Herring worked as a homemaker throughout her
 life; she was blessed with a daughter, Karen, as well as two
 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; devoted to her faith,
 she was a valued member of Grace Temple Baptist Church; and
 WHEREAS, Marion Herring lived a caring and purposeful life,
 and she will forever be remembered with deep affection by all who
 held her close to their hearts; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Marion Herring and
 extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her
 daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Frank Quinn; to her
 grandchildren, Angela Gross and her husband, Andrew, and Tim Taylor
 and his wife, Laura; to her great-grandchildren, Audrey Gross,
 Aaron Gross, Zadie Taylor, and Zyndi Taylor; to her brothers, Gary
 Koerth and his wife, Ann, Mike Koerth, and L. D. Koerth; to her
 sisters, Rosemary Clemmons and her husband, Guy, and Patsy Ostrom
 and her husband, Don; and to her other relatives and friends; and,
 be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Marion
 Herring.
