H.R. No. 2347
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Residents of Stafford have greatly benefited from
the dedicated leadership of Robert Sorbet since he was elected to
the city council; and
WHEREAS, During his tenure in municipal government, Mr.
Sorbet has ably guided the city with an eye to the future, and his
expertise in a range of community issues has earned him widespread
respect; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Sorbet was elected to the city council in 2008; a
resident of Stafford since 1996, he also serves as a director of the
homeowners' association in his subdivision; he is employed in
electrical sales with a territory covering southeastern Texas; and
WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of
life for their fellow citizens in innumerable ways, and the efforts
of Robert Sorbet have helped to make Stafford an even better place
in which to live and work; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby honor Robert Sorbet for his committed public
service and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Sorbet as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
