H.R. No. 2376
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, During the 82nd Legislative Session, Emily Landon
has distinguished herself as assistant clerk for the House
Committee on Pensions, Investments, and Financial Services; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Landon's strong work ethic contributed greatly
to the efficient operation of the committee, and she ably assisted
the clerk with juggling the myriad responsibilities involved in
processing the legislation it received; and
WHEREAS, Approaching her duties with professionalism and
diligence, Ms. Landon has provided outstanding service to the
legislature during the current session, and it is most fitting to
recognize her for a job well done; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby commend Emily Landon for her service as
assistant clerk for the House Committee on Pensions, Investments,
and Financial Services and extend to her sincere best wishes for the
future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Landon as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
