H.R. No. 2393
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Curt Krohn was elected to the DeSoto Independent
School District Board of Trustees on May 14, 2011; and
WHEREAS, Members of the DeSoto school board work closely with
parents, teachers, administrators, and other concerned citizens to
foster a supportive and challenging environment at district
schools, and in so doing, they are helping to provide nearly 9,000
young Texans in South Dallas County with a strong academic
foundation on which to build a bright and prosperous future; and
WHEREAS, Public education is an endeavor in which all
citizens have a stake, and as a newly elected trustee of DeSoto ISD,
Mr. Krohn is accepting an important responsibility and setting an
inspiring example of community engagement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Curt Krohn on being elected to the
DeSoto Independent School District Board of Trustees and extend to
him sincere best wishes for a successful tenure; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Krohn as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
