H.R. No. 2524
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Monsignors Harry Mazurkiewicz and Louis Wozniak of
Brenham are being honored on May 29, 2011, for 60 years of devoted
service to the Catholic Diocese of Austin; and
WHEREAS, In the course of their long and notable careers,
these distinguished clergymen have led parishioners with
conviction and compassion, earning the lasting respect and
admiration of the countless people they have assisted in the church
as well as in the greater community; and
WHEREAS, For six decades, Monsignors Mazurkiewicz and
Wozniak have wholeheartedly committed themselves to sharing the
teachings of their faith, and their leadership has provided valued
inspiration, guidance, and comfort to many; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby honor Monsignors Harry Mazurkiewicz and Louis
Wozniak for dedicating their lives to serving members of the
Catholic faith in Central Texas and extend to these esteemed
gentlemen sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Monsignor Mazurkiewicz and Monsignor Wozniak as an
expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
