H.R. No. 2539
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Citizens of Dallas will greatly benefit from the
leadership of the Honorable Scott Griggs, who was elected to
represent District 3 on the city council in May 2011; and
WHEREAS, The public-spirited men and women who dedicate their
time and talents to help lead their community are indeed deserving
of the admiration and gratitude of those they serve; and
WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of
life enjoyed by their fellow residents in innumerable ways, and the
efforts of Mr. Griggs will help make Dallas an even better place in
which to live and work; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Scott Griggs on being elected to
the Dallas City Council and extend to him sincere best wishes for
continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Griggs as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
