 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Deborah Seriki has provided indispensable support
 to the office of State Representative Roberto R. Alonzo during the
 82nd Legislative Session; and
 WHEREAS, A December 2011 graduate of The University of Texas
 at San Antonio, Ms. Seriki has been a participant in the McClendon
 UTSA Legislative Scholars Program; her bachelor's degree is in
 psychology with a minor in legal studies, and she also attended a
 law school preparatory academy offered by the university's
 Institute for Law and Public Affairs in 2010; and
 WHEREAS, Ms. Seriki has held student assistant positions with
 the Honors Alliance and the History Department at UTSA; her
 extracurricular activities have included singing in a gospel group
 and serving as the vice president of a community service
 organization on campus, and she was in charge of finances for the
 African Student Association; and
 WHEREAS, Performing her duties in Representative Alonzo's
 office with skill and dedication, Deborah Seriki has greatly
 benefited the constituents of House District 104, and she is indeed
 deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
 be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature hereby commend Deborah Seriki for her service as an
 intern in the office of State Representative Roberto R. Alonzo and
 extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her
 endeavors; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Seriki as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
