 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, A full and productive life drew to a close with the
 passing of Andrew Jackson Wade of Waco on April 27, 2011, at the age
 of 84; and
 WHEREAS, Born on July 22, 1926, in Crichton, Alabama, "Jack"
 Wade was the son of Estus and Gertrude Wade; he came of age during
 World War II and served his country in the United States Navy; from
 July 1943 to February 1946, he was stationed on the USS Kenmore; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. Wade worked at General Tire and Rubber Company
 for more than 20 years; subsequently, he owned and operated Loop 340
 Automotive for more than three decades; he was a valued member of
 Masonic Lodge No. 92; and
 WHEREAS, On July 31, 1985, Mr. Wade married the former Opal
 Rains; he was the devoted father of Cathy, Darla, Gayle, Tony, and
 Danny, and took great pride in his 10 grandchildren; Mr. Wade had a
 warm smile for everyone he met and shared a host of funny stories,
 brightening the days of innumerable people; and
 WHEREAS, Jack Wade will be deeply missed, but although his
 death has brought great sorrow to his loved ones, he has left behind
 many fond memories that they will forever treasure; now, therefore,
 be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Andrew Jackson Wade
 and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
 wife, Opal Wade; to his children, Cathy Vrba and her husband, Rick,
 Darla Scott and her husband, Ray, Gayle Holley and her husband,
 James, Tony Wade and his wife, Debbie, and Danny Raines and his
 wife, Brenda; to his grandchildren, Zachary Vrba, Kristal
 Schoffler, Kari Rizor, Steve and Kevin Scott, Jessa Wade, Tony
 Wade, Jr., Danny Raines, Jr., Chad Raines, and Steven Daniel; to his
 great-grandchildren; to his sister, Jean Lee; to his brothers,
 Douglas Wade and his wife, Diane, Leroy Wade, and Mike Wade; and to
 his many other relatives and friends; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Andrew
 Jackson Wade.
