R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, J'Nay Washington of Dallas is commemorating a
special milestone in her life on June 2, 2011, for on that day she
graduates from the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin; and
WHEREAS, Joining the school as a senior, Ms. Washington
served as a member of the homecoming committee and as a manager for
the track team; she enjoys teaching sign language to children and is
well prepared to explore the opportunities that lie ahead; and
WHEREAS, Graduation marks the beginning of a new and exciting
chapter in Ms. Washington's life, and it is indeed fitting to
commend her for her noteworthy accomplishment; now, therefore, be
it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate J'Nay Washington on her graduation
from the Texas School for the Deaf and extend to her sincere best
wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Washington as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
