R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Citizens of Dallas will greatly benefit from the
leadership of Katy Hubener, who was elected justice of the peace for
Precinct 4, Place 2, in 2010; and
WHEREAS, An alumna of Texas Tech University, Ms. Hubener
earned an advanced degree at Claremont Graduate University; for
many years, she has been a valued member of the southwest Dallas
County community, where she owns a successful residential and
property management company; and
WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of
life enjoyed by their fellow residents in innumerable ways, and
Katy Hubener's work as a justice of the peace will help make Dallas
an even better place in which to live and work in the years to come;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate the Honorable Katy Hubener on her
election as justice of the peace and extend to her sincere best
wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Judge Hubener as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
