 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal
 milestones, and Britton Tidwell is participating in that joyful
 occasion as he graduates with honors from Terrell High School on
 June 3, 2011; and
 WHEREAS, Although the members of the Class of 2011 will soon
 go their separate ways, the time that they have shared at Terrell
 High has created a lasting bond, and the knowledge and experiences
 that Mr. Tidwell has gained there will forever enrich his life; and
 WHEREAS, Earning his high school diploma has required hard
 work and dedication, and Mr. Tidwell can reflect with pride on the
 perseverance he has demonstrated in the pursuit of his goals; he has
 been a member of the National Honor Society, and he was selected as
 a commended scholar by the Texas Association of Secondary School
 Principals; in addition to his academic success, he also found time
 to give back to his community through his work with the Key Club,
 the Rotary Club, the Hulsey Public Library summer reading program,
 and the Share Center; and
 WHEREAS, Accepted to the Honors College at Harding
 University, this outstanding young Texan may look forward to
 exciting challenges and opportunities, and it is a pleasure to join
 his family and friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future
 bright with promise; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Britton Tidwell on the occasion of
 his high school graduation and extend to him sincere best wishes for
 continued success and happiness; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Mr. Tidwell as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
