H.R. No. 273 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, The certain knowledge of a life well lived may serve to comfort the loved ones of Juan Sergio Camacho, who passed away on June 12, 2010, at the age of 67; and WHEREAS, Juan Camacho was the son of Juan A. Camacho and Seferina Esperiqueta; born in the Alamo City, he joined the U.S. Army at the age of 18 and later served his country with distinction as a platoon staff sergeant in the National Guard and as a volunteer in the Memorial Detachment Services Honor Guard at Fort Sam Houston; and WHEREAS, A valued resident of his community, Mr. Camacho participated in the Hispanic Choir at his parish, St. Paul Catholic Church, and shared his talents as a guitarist with the Sabatina mass at San Fernando Cathedral; and WHEREAS, Mr. Camacho enjoyed 46 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Marina, and they became the parents of five children; in his free time, he took pleasure in spending time with his family, which grew to include four grandchildren; and WHEREAS, With his passing, Juan Camacho has left behind a legacy to cherish for those who held him dear, and he continues to be deeply missed; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Juan Sergio Camacho and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife, Marina Camacho; to his children, Rose and her husband, Michael, Sandra and her husband, Richard, and Juan and his wife, Marissa; to his four grandchildren; to his five sisters and two brothers; and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Juan Sergio Camacho.
