 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Countless lives were touched by the kindness and
 generosity of Eleanora Simank Martin, who passed away on May 25,
 2011, at the age of 85; and
 WHEREAS, Eleanora Simank was born in Thorndale on December
 11, 1925, to Willie and Thursnelda Simank; when she was 18, she
 married the love of her life, Johnny Martin, and they shared a
 fulfilling relationship that endured until her death; and
 WHEREAS, Over the years, Mrs. Martin and her husband were
 blessed with three daughters, Donna Kay, Sharron Marie, and Bonnie
 Sue, as well as 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren;
 Mrs. Martin was a devoted mother and grandmother, and she delighted
 in hosting gatherings at her home; and
 WHEREAS, A longtime congregant of Trinity Lutheran Church in
 Fort Worth, Mrs. Martin taught Sunday school and was a charter
 member of the church's Ruth Circle; in addition, she served as a
 board member of Trinity Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in
 America; and
 WHEREAS, Eleanora Martin lived a caring and purposeful life
 centered around her family and her faith, and she will be forever
 remembered with deep affection by all those who held her dear; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Eleanora Simank
 Martin and extend sincere condolences to the members of her family:
 to her husband, Johnny Wayne Martin; to her daughters, Donna Kay
 Sagebiel and her husband, Gordon, Sharron Marie Burt and her
 husband, Bill, and Bonnie Sue Story and her husband, Jim; to her
 grandchildren, Richard Sagebiel and his wife, Nancy, Jason Sagebiel
 and his wife, Annie, Jennifer Gold and her husband, Chris, Kayla
 Sweet and her husband, Michael, Tim Burt, Tyson Burt, Brenda Spaeth
 and her husband, Shawn, Jamie Story, Julie Azua and her husband,
 Marcos, and Jessica Story; to her 11 great-grandchildren; and to
 her other relatives and friends; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Eleanora
 Simank Martin.
