H.R. No. 2742
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the sorrow felt at
the untimely loss of Kellie Ona Campbell of West, who passed away on
May 4, 2011, at the age of 26; and
WHEREAS, Born on March 9, 1985, in Irving to Larry and
Kimberly Phelps, Kellie Phelps attended high school in Salado, and
she then worked for the American Income Life Insurance Company; and
WHEREAS, She married Justin Henry Campbell in West on April
22, 2006, and together they welcomed two children, Zackary and
Zoie, into their family; devoted to her son, daughter, and husband,
she became a full-time homemaker; and
WHEREAS, Although her life came to an end far too soon,
cherished memories of time spent in her company will long endure in
the hearts of all those who had the good fortune to share in her love
and friendship; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Kellie Ona Campbell
and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her
husband, Justin Campbell; to her children, Zackary and Zoie
Campbell; to her mother, Kimberly Clapper; to her father, Larry
Phelps; to her brother, Jon Phelps; to her mother-in-law, Julane
Campbell; to her grandmother, Wanda Shifrin-Cobb; and to her other
relatives and friends; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Kellie Ona
Campbell.
