R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, May 7, 2011, signaled the beginning of a new chapter
in the lives of Elizabeth Carlock and Kevin Phillips, for on that
day they embarked on a rewarding journey together as husband and
wife; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Carlock was joined in matrimony with Mr.
Phillips at Park Cities Presbyterian Church; the couple later
welcomed their guests at a reception held in the home of the bride's
parents, Laura and Byron Carlock; and
WHEREAS, The couple's formal commitment to one another
delighted their families and friends, who look forward to sharing
in their happiness throughout the coming years; and
WHEREAS, The wedding of Ms. Carlock and Mr. Phillips marks a
profound deepening of a relationship that has grown in love,
respect, and mutual regard with each passing day, and it is truly a
pleasure to honor this fortunate pair; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Elizabeth Carlock and Kevin
Phillips on the joyous occasion of their wedding and extend to them
sincere best wishes for a lifetime of joy; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Phillips as an expression of high regard
by the Texas House of Representatives.
