R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced
by a great and enduring love, James and Frances Utley of Mineola
reached a special milestone in their relationship when they
celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on January 31, 2011; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Utley have nurtured a close and
fulfilling marriage that has been made even richer with the
addition of their four children, Rickey, Latrena, Sheila, and
Wendell, as well as their eight grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past six
decades, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant in
their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love has
enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace
and optimism; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate James and Frances Utley on their
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Utley as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
