R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Chase Boswell is graduating as the salutatorian of
Willie J. Hargrave High School in Huffman on June 3, 2011; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Boswell has demonstrated a thorough
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and the rewards of the
countless hours he has devoted to his studies are myriad; he has
also displayed notable leadership as the president of the senior
class and of his school's chapter of the National Honor Society; and
WHEREAS, The son of proud parents Mark and Gail Boswell, Mr.
Boswell has further distinguished himself on the tennis court,
winning the district championships in doubles, and in the Business
Professionals of America, placing third in a global marketing
competition; he looks forward to attending The University of Texas
at Austin to study business; and
WHEREAS, Throughout his academic career, Chase Boswell has
earned the respect and admiration of his teachers and classmates at
Willie J. Hargrave High, and his exceptional scholastic ability,
hard work, and commitment to excellence have opened the way to
limitless opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That Chase Boswell be congratulated on being named
salutatorian of the Willie J. Hargrave High School Class of 2011 and
that he be extended sincere best wishes for continued success as he
begins the next exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Boswell as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
