H.R. No. 605 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, The 65th birthday of an esteemed Texan is truly cause for celebration, and on April 14, 2011, Andrew Dean Livingston is marking this significant milestone in his life; and WHEREAS, A native of the Golden Triangle, Mr. Livingston was born in 1946, one of eight children of May Elizabeth Lions and Albert Sterling Livingston; he attended Bridge City High School and went on to serve his country with distinction in the Vietnam War; and WHEREAS, Mr. Livingston is a self-employed carpenter; known for his kindness and generosity, he enjoys spending time with his son, Paul, and exploring the state's picturesque roads on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle; and WHEREAS, The birthday of Andrew Livingston provides a welcome opportunity to honor this esteemed Texan for his myriad achievements and to remind him of the high regard in which he is held by a great many people; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas Legislature hereby honor Andrew Dean Livingston on his 65th birthday and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Livingston as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
