H.R. No. 65 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times and meaningful accomplishments remain to comfort the family and friends of Jacquelynn Richardson Kyle of Pipe Creek, who died on July 19, 2009, at the age of 78; and WHEREAS, The former Jackie Richardson was born in Junction on April 6, 1931, to Jack and Joy Ellis Richardson; she married Wesley Kyle, and the couple lived for many years on the Leona Ranch near Uvalde; a vibrant presence in the community, Mrs. Kyle was a longtime member of St. Philip's Episcopal Church, where she founded a day school that is still in operation today; and WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Kyle later became the proprietors of an exotic game ranch in Pipe Creek; Mrs. Kyle was active in the area as a founding member of the Ranchers and Landowners Association of Texas, and she was also involved in a number of wildlife associations; she and her husband shared 58 happy years together until his death in 2008; and WHEREAS, Beloved by all who knew her for her kind and generous nature, Jackie Kyle made a positive difference in the lives of many, and she will long be remembered with great admiration and affection; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Jacquelynn Richardson Kyle and extend sincere condolences to her loved ones, including her daughter, Kathryn Kyle, and her son-in-law, Scott A. Smith; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Jacquelynn Richardson Kyle.
