 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Jasmine Saucedo is serving as a student intern in
 the office of State Representative Yvonne Davis from March 15 to 17,
 2011, as part of a program sponsored by Mountain View College of the
 Dallas County Community College District; and
 WHEREAS, Ms. Saucedo is a 2009 graduate of the School of
 Business and Management at the Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Magnet
 Center in Dallas; she attended El Centro College for a year before
 transferring to Mountain View College, where she was elected vice
 president of the Student Government Association; in this role, she
 oversees six committees and helps to organize campus and community
 events; she has also distinguished herself as a longtime child-care
 volunteer at her church; and
 WHEREAS, For a few days, this noteworthy young Texan has had
 the opportunity to contribute to the workings of state government
 firsthand; in addition to enhancing her knowledge of the
 legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star
 State, she is gaining valuable work experience in the field of
 public service; and
 WHEREAS, Since arriving at the Capitol, Jasmine Saucedo has
 brought energy and enthusiasm to every task set before her, and she
 is indeed deserving of special recognition for a job well done; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature hereby commend Jasmine Saucedo for her service as a
 legislative intern in the office of State Representative Yvonne
 Davis and extend to her warmest best wishes for great success in all
 her future endeavors; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Saucedo as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
