H.R. No. 866
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Denis J. Guenin of San Antonio died on February 17,
2011, at the age of 65, leaving his circle of family and friends to
cherish their many happy memories of time spent in his company; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Guenin was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on
August 8, 1945; through the years, he shared a rewarding
relationship with his wife, Gertrud, and he took great pride in his
three children; and
WHEREAS, Although he is deeply missed, Denis Guenin will
forever be remembered with deep affection by all those whose lives
were touched by his love and friendship; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Denis J. Guenin and
extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
wife, Gertrud; to his sons, Andreas and Erik; to his daughter,
Suzanne; and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Denis
Guenin.
