10	10	relating to adding certain synthetic stimulants to Penalty Group 2
11	11	of the Texas Controlled Substances Act.
12	12	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
13	13	SECTION 1. Subsection (a), Section 481.103, Health and
14	14	Safety Code, is amended to read as follows:
15	15	(a) Penalty Group 2 consists of:
16	16	(1) any quantity of the following hallucinogenic
17	17	substances, their salts, isomers, and salts of isomers, unless
18	18	specifically excepted, if the existence of these salts, isomers,
19	19	and salts of isomers is possible within the specific chemical
20	20	designation:
21	21	alpha-ethyltryptamine;
22	22	alpha-methyltryptamine;
23	23	4-bromo-2, 5-dimethoxyamphetamine (some trade or
24	24	other names: 4-bromo-2, 5-dimethoxy-alpha-methylphenethylamine;
25	25	4-bromo-2, 5-DMA);
26	26	4-bromo-2, 5-dimethoxyphenethylamine;
27	27	Bufotenine (some trade and other names: 3-(beta-
28	28	Dimethylaminoethyl)-5-hydroxyindole; 3-(2-dimethylaminoethyl)- 5-
29	29	indolol; N, N-dimethylserotonin; 5-hydroxy-N, N-
30	30	dimethyltryptamine; mappine);
31	31	Diethyltryptamine (some trade and other names: N,
32	32	N-Diethyltryptamine, DET);
33	33	2, 5-dimethoxyamphetamine (some trade or other

150	150	SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011.
