77 relating to the definition of a postsecondary program in regard to
88 non-baccalaureate career schools and colleges.
99 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1010 SECTION 1. Section 132.001, Education Code, is amended by
1111 adding Subdivision (15) to read as follows:
1212 (15) "Postsecondary program" means a program that
1313 requires a student to have a high school diploma or high school
1414 equivalency certificate, or requires that the person be beyond the
1515 age of compulsory education. A program of instruction in yoga or
1616 that trains persons to teach yoga is not considered a postsecondary
1717 program.
1818 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011.
