9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 132.001, Education Code, is amended by | |
11 | 11 | adding Subdivision (15) to read as follows: | |
12 | 12 | (15) "Postsecondary program" means a program that | |
13 | 13 | requires a student to have a high school diploma or high school | |
14 | 14 | equivalency certificate, or requires that the person be beyond the | |
15 | 15 | age of compulsory education. A program of instruction in yoga or | |
16 | 16 | that trains persons to teach yoga is not considered a postsecondary | |
17 | 17 | program. | |
18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011. |
