14 | 14 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

15 | 15 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter G, Chapter 370, Transportation Code, |

16 | 16 | | is amended by adding Section 370.3052 to read as follows: |

17 | 17 | | Sec. 370.3052. LIMITED AUTHORITY FOR CERTAIN PROJECTS USING |

18 | 18 | | COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENTS. Notwithstanding Sections |

19 | 19 | | 370.305(d) and (f), an authority may enter into a comprehensive |

20 | 20 | | development agreement relating to improvements to the Loop 1 (MoPac |

21 | 21 | | Improvement) project, from Farm-to-Market Road 734 to Cesar Chavez |

22 | 22 | | Street. |

23 | 23 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
---|
24 | 24 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
---|
25 | 25 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
---|
26 | 26 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
---|
27 | 27 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2011. |
